Why I Built Draft_
As an aspiring medical student navigating the overwhelming application process, I watched countless peers struggle with their personal statements. The challenge wasn't a lack of experiences or passion—it was finding a way to authentically articulate their journey.
I saw AI tools promising to "write your personal statement in minutes." But here's the thing: having AI write your statement isn't just immoral—it's useless. Admissions committees can spot generic, AI-generated essays from a mile away. More importantly, it robs you of the most valuable part of the application process: self-discovery.
I believe AI should be a guide, not a ghostwriter. It should ask you the right questions, help you dig deeper into your experiences, and organize your thoughts—but the story, the voice, the authenticity? That has to be 100% you.
The Power of Original Creation
I'm a musician. I've performed on The Voice Kids Germany, written original songs, and spent countless hours crafting melodies that express what words alone cannot. Creating music taught me something fundamental: the process of creation is where the magic happens.
When you write a song, you don't just generate lyrics—you dig into your experiences, emotions, and stories. You iterate, refine, and discover parts of yourself you didn't know existed. The final song is meaningful because you created it.

Bridging Arts and Sciences
My curiosity spans both arts and sciences. As a programmer, I've built systems and solved complex problems. As an aspiring physician, I'm driven by the desire to understand the human body and help others heal. As a musician, I explore the emotional depths of human experience.
These worlds aren't separate—they're interconnected. Medicine is both science and art. Programming requires creativity and logic. Music is mathematics and emotion intertwined. Draft_ reflects this philosophy: it combines the analytical power of AI with the deeply human process of storytelling.
I built Draft_ because I believe the best personal statements come from students who are guided to think deeply, reflect honestly, and express authentically—not from those who outsource their voice to a machine.
